How would I have ever known about Charleston had it not been for an invitation, 23 years ago, to a 15 hour road trip in the back seat of a Subaru that would shift into 2nd gear? I totally remember that trip from Alexandria! I believe TJ was surviving on ‘circus cereal’ back then. LOL!
I fell in love with Charleston after that initial exposure….and of course meeting my (future) wife wasn’t bad either. Wow…lots of memories. I’ve told TJ before, I’m happy we’re family, but even more blessed that we’re all close friends.

Johnny (Yes I am allowed to still call you that!). You know you are always one of my favorite “family members”. I love you and love how you love my children.
